If you’re like most people, you probably have a few phone numbers scattered around your contacts list. Maybe you have one for work, one for your family, and one for your friends. But what if you want to change the number on one of your devices? Or maybe you just want to consolidate all of your contacts into one place? Here’s how to do it on Amazon devices and apps. To change the number on an Amazon device or app, open the app or device and go to Settings. Under “Phone Number,” enter the new number and confirm it. If you’re changing the number on an Amazon Echo device, open the Alexa app and go to Settings > Phone Number. To change the number on an Amazon Fire tablet or Fire TV, open the Settings menu and select “Phone Number.” If you’re changing a phone number on an Amazon account that’s linked to a Facebook account, first sign in to Facebook. Then go to https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=phone#/. Under “Account Details,” click “Linked Accounts.” Under “Your Phone Number,” click “Change.” Enter your new phone number and confirm it. ..
On the “Your Account” page, choose “Login & Security.”
On the “Login & Security” page, next to “Mobile Phone Number,” select “Edit.”
You’ll land on a “Change Mobile Number” page. Here, beneath “Mobile Number,” click the drop-down menu and choose your phone’s country code. Then, in the given text box, type your new phone number.
Continue the process by clicking “Continue.”
In the prompt that opens, choose “OK.”
At the top of the page, select “Your Account.”
From the “Account Settings” section, choose “Login & Security.” If you’re asked to enter your account password, do so.
On the “Login & Security” page, next to “Mobile Phone Number,” tap “Edit.”
You’ll see a “Change Mobile Number” page. Here, tap the drop-down menu and choose your phone’s country code. Then tap the text box and enter your new phone number.
When you’re done, tap “Continue.”
Select “OK” in the prompt.
