If you’re like most people, you probably use your Android phone to type. But if you’re like me, you also use it to play games and check social media. And if you’re like me, the keyboard on your Android phone is starting to feel a little dated. So how can you change the keyboard on your Android phone? There are a few ways, but the easiest way is to go into Settings and select Keyboard. From there, you’ll need to select the Keyboard that corresponds to your language and country. Then, under Language and Country, select the keyboard that’s best for your needs. But there are other ways too! You can try using a virtual keyboard or an app that allows for multiple languages on one device. And if all of those don’t work for you or you just want a new keyboard that’s more modern looking, there are plenty of keyboards out there that can be downloaded for free. So don’t give up on using your Android phone’s keyboard yet!

As with many things in the Android world, this process is going to be slightly different depending on the device you have. We’ll be showing you how to do it with a Google Pixel phone—which is as close to a baseline Android experience you can get—and a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Before we get started, make sure you’ve downloaded a keyboard app from the Play Store. Many of them will guide you through the process of changing the keyboard. If not, you can follow the steps below for your device.
